Me and @Marcus have just been and measured up the shop. This is my thought but open to ideas?
Orange are work benches to create a barrier
Black is Dalek Bob
The gap between the calendar and wall we add a retractable barrier, then we can fill the space with folding tables.

We’ll then need to source some folding chairs that wont break the bank.
Any ideas/input welcome!

Honestly? Geek them out with our specialities… Community, Tech, and education.
Put in examples of the tech we can teach; The micro controllers, the tech library, the printers, the VR, etc… Pop some 3D prints up, along with the touchscreen “table”, etc. Any of this is eye catching, and brings questions and footfall.
Also, small posters in the window. People can read about building websites (and other things) while subtly using it as an excuse to peer through the window.
Get the minions to volunteer, showing community, and inclusion… Winner, all round.
Although, I think this is the sort of place that would evolve over time, through community input.
Oh… And DEFINITELY a photo wall. Pics like the one above, and the ones in the OG space, would be AWESOME.
Bit more progress, we need to box in the counter somehow, im thinking tongue and groove, or maybe just ply painted with chalk paint or something, and add some kind of gate to the end.
I’d suggest the ply with chalk paint. You can then get the artists to do weekly updates on there so that people can see at a glance what’s going on.
