Hi everybody my name is John, I met Andy at a careers event I attended with a younger family member. As soon as we got talking I realised I would love to help in any way I could, so it is a pleasure to virtually meet everyone!
My background is in economics, I am currently in post as an economist working on understanding different poverty measures, rather than solely using income as we have previously. I am specifically looking at debt / access to credit but my team are looking at things such as access to a food basket, essential goods or digital access!
I also looked at digital exclusion during my analysis of the European Social Fund in my last post, as well as in university looking at the impact of digital exclusion on employment.
My interests outside of Economics include Tennis, Snooker, AI, F1, Politics and gaming when I get chance
