Getting the 3D resin printer up and running

Hi all,

This forum is for helping get the resin printer up and running for office use and can then be booked out and get people experienced in the resin side of 3D printing.

However, due to the nature of resin printing it must be handled with more care and I feel we should do the following (Feel free to disagree):
-Perform and create a risk assessment.
-Create an adapter for the extractor to fit the printer.
-Ensure those who use the printer understand it and are trained to use it safely.
-Protocols for storing and using resin and alcohol.
-Possible a policy about using the printer.

Additionally, We need a few things to get it up and running safely which are:
-Washing and curing station (V3 and up(Top 3D Resin Wash & Cure Stations – ELEGOO UK)).
-Silicone mat for the workstation in case of any run off resin.
-Metal lock box (For resin and isopropyl alcohol).
-Metal or plastic paint scrapper (Used to remove prints from the plate).
-Bin (To be used for resin support material and failed prints).

Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Have a great day,
Kay.

One thought I had initially at least is to group printing, ie one day a month so that cleanup etc happens at the same time and can be shared.

We should get a controlled cabinet anyway
